My surgery was on tuesday and so far I've been feeling good, except for the expected pain from gas and the incisions. One and off today my stomach has been hurting. I couldn't tell if it was from the incisions or my actual stomach. Since lunchtime I've also been more and more sick to my stomach. I just don't feel good and I checked my temp b/c I felt warm. It was 99.3. Is that normal?

So far I've eaten things without feeling sick and all I had at lunch was a few bites of chicken noodle soup and a piece of bread. I've only had crackers and ginger ale since then.

After surgery, I was store in my stomach area (from both incisions and their internal exploration), for a couple of weeks. I can't answer on the temperature, but you may want to let your surgeon know.

I was told that after surgery, it is normal to have a temperature, as long as it didn't go over 100 or 101. My stomach was pretty bad for a month after surgery, but I am ffeling better with it now. THe problems I am having now are totally unrelated, and are kidney stones. I have my surgery April 4th, and am feeling pretty good with my stomach! Hopefully it will get better for you!!

Thanks for resopnding. Luckily the temp went away and has been normal for the last few hours. I still have a mild stomach ache and upset stomach, as well as A LOT of gurgling going on in there. I guess it's all part of the recovery process.
