I was getting good results from this routine a few months ago, then stopped really stupidly. I eat pretty well just need to exercise to lose some lbs. I was doing mostly cardio & some free weights (90 minutes cardio on treadmill & bike, 30 minutes weights every other day). Is this too much? They told me at my gym it was, but I think its less crazy than diet pills. Anyone do this much exercise? 5x a week ok?

2 hours a day 5 days a week is excessive. You will be losing a lot of muscle with the fat if you maintain that schedule. Losing 2 pounds of fat a week is about all your body can really burn normally. If you're losing more weight than that, it's muscle and water. Keep in mind that more muscle burns more calories, so you want to do what you can to spare your muscle. I'd say an hour of cardio, tops. Especially if you're doing resistance training in the same session.
