my son who is 2 months has always sweats a lot! I looked it up and it says its probably normal or heart failure or overactive thyroid...that doesn't help too much. I was wondering if anyone else experiences this! He doesn't have other symptoms. he just gets really sweaty...at night, when he's feeding, when he's crying, etc. He has healthy weight gain, so I'm not sure what to think. please, if anyone has any suggestions! thanks

My son sweats alot too, but i try to avoid it by leaving him in just a diaper when hes at home and not covering him too much or have the fan blow in his direction.

My bf always strips him down too, but I feel like he's cold. His hands and feet will feel all cold and clamy, but his head will be sweating like crazy

My kids a re hotboxes! I let them sleep in limited clothing in the summer and on warmer days. It's only 70 out right now and they are both drenched with sweat!

What does your doctor say? Did you ask about this at your 2 month visit? This is exactly the type of question that doctors are looking for when you come in for well-child visits.

My fist born was always cold so when I had DS 2 weeks ago I was so suprised how sweaty and hot he is all the time. I let him sleep in just a diaper and he is unhappy if even blanket is covering him for too long. I asked my doctor and she wasnt worried about it as long as he doesnt spike a fever.

I know my ds is a sweater too. My mom said I was the same way, now I'm always cold! I also remember when my nephew was a baby I would have him in his carseat with the air conditioner on full blast and he would just be sweating. I think some babies are just sweaty. Ask your Doc if you get concerned.

my baby sweats a lot too. it's normal. i've read somewhere that when babies sweat in their sleep it means that they are sleeping really well and getting good rest. just try to keep him uncovered and dress him lightly. gl!
