So I went to my psychiatrist today. She said she hasnt seen many of her patients have success with luvox so she wanted me to try zoloft. Anyone been on this before? results?

I was on it for depression and anxiety. Absolutely killed my sex drive and I felt kind of foggy some of the time. I ended up on Prozac, which worked well for me. Remember, every med works different for everyone. Good luck!

I Take Luvox And Love It. I Am Most Likely Changing Soon To Prozac To Get Pregnant And Stay On That. My Friend Has Ocd And She Takes Zoloft And Loves It ...

I was on Zoloft for at least a year and really didn't see the point. But it might work for you.

She also didnt want me to take luvox because of the interaction with xanax...maybe I should have stayed on Prozac...i did that that last year. well i see her in 3 weeks...i guess i can try it until then and see

Zoloft did nothing for me. Well it did make me feel drugged. I had no emotion or feelings while on zoloft.
I think Luvox is much better. But it is different for everybody. I have had no problems with Luvox and Xanax together.

i dont know my therapist just said it has some interactions like it makes the xanax last longer or take on a stronger dosage....no one else had this problem with luvox and xanax taken together?

Yes, that can be true. It may be metabolized by the same mechanism in the body. All that means is that the Xanax or the Luvox (or both) will take more time to leave your system. But dosage can be adjusted. I take both, no problems at all.
