During this period, well, I was a TOTAL mess. Having only 1 pap test previously, I thought I was ,,,,"not a good girl". In more ways than one, including smoking.

Every 6mths after leep, colposcopy, smear.

1st one (after leep) was clear
2nd one =LSIL
3rd one= (I just found out this week) was clear!
Cross my fingers, this week's will be clear as well.

POINT- Leep worked for me. Hopefully this brings comfort to those of you, who find themselves where I was 2 yrs ago.

(I used to be under the name of lvnglf. I stopped coming in, had to "relog".)

A BIG, BIG thank you to this site. The support, sharred knowledge, honesty, brought me, ALOT of comfort.

Great to see such a positive post from you!!! :) Congrats on the continued clear paps - wonderful news! All my paps since my hysterectomy have been normal (all two of them!), and I go for my next one in August/September. Hoping that will be clear too :) Thanks so much for stopping in to give all the ladies here such a positive thing to reflect on. This stuff (and all the emotional turmoil that comes with it) can be beaten!

I have a question for you...how did they treat the LSIL, watch and wait? I had CIS and a LEEP 1 year ago and my pap came back with ASCUS and neg HPV. They refered me back to my Gyno ( i get paps at my regular doctor) but gave me zero info on what the plan of action is going to be. I am curious to know!

It is SO great to get these updates!! My first post-cold knife cone pap two weeks ago came back clear (YES!!) and it's nice to hear from people who are farther along in the process. Good luck keeping it all clear for the future! (And let us know!)

SpecialK-They did the wait and see for LSIL. My body "fixed it" on it's own. :)
