went to change my dd diaper and it was a shocking charcoal gray! lots of it. called dr immediately in tears and told me not to worry unless it continues and to bring her in on monday. she only goes once a day so i have to wait today out until tomorrow am. i can't stand this. she seems ok other than having a cold for 2 weeks now. she's on cereal and some squash and some bananas...we just started this 2 weeks ago.
any one else ever go thru this and what was the cause and outcome?
thanks.

I wouldn't worry. Happened to my DD at about the same age, actually she was probably a little younger. I was concerned but the doctor said it has to with the amount of bile that is passed and every once in awhile it may be gray. My DD's was gray with dark green streaks and the doctor said no need to be concerned. It only happened for about 1 day and then not again but it's normal for the color and consistency to change from the norm once in a while. Unless there are any other symptoms of illness, this is probably all it is.
