yea, 6 days they kept me,as some of you know i've been positive for 10 plus years and i have been pretty healthy. i had became very ill with flu like symptoms,bad chills,a 104 degree fever and my head was breaking out. found out it was the chicken pox!
at my age (in the 40's) it kicked my butt good. being my age and they knew my status they didn't hesitate to admit and keep me.it took over 4 days of iv's to get it under control. i just got home and still don't feel the best but i'm just glad i got out of there.:dizzy:

Hey I missed you, and am glad you are feeling better.

There is nothing worse that being holed up in hospital,hope you make a speedy recovery at home.

thanks all, they really didn't itch that bad, it was the fever,chills and headaches that were the worst. it was scary for a bit because in the beginning i was really weak and not feeling well and hadn't broken out yet.
i have been off meds for a few years and in your mind you think you have something alot worse,still it was bad enough.made me wish i got it when i was younger.:dizzy:

when my viral load and cd4 count get to a certian level i go back on meds, i'm on an interuption study that they do things to boost your immune system then see how long it will hold up, so far 4 years without a pill.
the one good thing is since i was last on pills they have much better ones with less side effects.i don't look foward to being on them again.
