I have returned home from my surgery and it went very well.

The doctor called me the night before I was to go into the hospital to tell me that the results of the LEEP/Biop was NEGATIVE, and she also told me that she did a test for HPV and I DO NOT HAVE IT!

So, to to those whos doctors tell you you have HPV without even giving you a test, please insist on a test to be sure! This dr. "assumed" I had HPV because that is the norm.

SO, go figure:

I went from having an adnormal pap with HGSIL/CIN ll, to having a Colp, to having another Colpo, then finally a LEEP.

How can that be??/ ANyone ever hear of it??

I am not complaining, and I have jumped for joy and was sooooooooooo relieved to get her call, but the entire trip was really something.

Thanks again for all of you who supported me and answered my questioned. I pray EVERYONE will have as much luck as I have.

Rouxwoman: Great news on all your test results! I have kept up with your posts and although you have been on one heck of a roller coaster ride...at least it is slowing down and you are getting good news about what is going on.

Yes, i actually have been getting the same type or results. First abnormal pap in 20+ years in June 06, CINIII, Colpo CINII, LEEP CINI clear margins.

First follow up pap in Jan 07, CINII, Colpo March 07 CLEAR! I cant figure it out, but I did have HPV at the original pap in 06 i dont know if they retested me or if they even consider retesting, but im due to go back in June for my first follow up since the clear Colpo and who knows what it will read.

Im getting married in Aug. so it would be nice if i could but this behind me and have good results from here on out. :)
