so i am quite embarassed for this.... i have ALWAYS been careful, used protection, and have slept with only few people in my life, but i contracted hpv about 3 years ago and herpes about 2 months ago (from my boyfriend's dormant cold sore....) i am a very repsonsible individual, but i feel very alone and disgusting... my boyfriend has stuck with me through all of this and says he doesn't have a problem. we still have regular intercourse. and yet, i can't help but think he is just saying these things to make me feel better.
is anyone else in this situation of having more than one std?? or, is anyone with someone who has more than one std??? how do you deal with it?? i just need some outside opinions, or some comfort in knowing there are others out there like myself....

Hey !! I have both I got herpes from a guy I was dating in college who knew he had it and got GW dating a guy who didnt know he had it or if he did didnt tell em :confused: I feel dirty at times but alot of people have STDS and just don't know keep your head up :wave:

Well since about 70% of the adult population has HPV and about 80% has HSV1...I certainly wouldn't sweat over it too much!

actually, that's the most frustrating part of all..... i have ALWAYS 110% of the time used condoms (and have been with only few people), and yet, i was still bestowed with the embarassing problem of a wart. the herpes was granted by my current long-time boyfriend who has HSV1, that came from his mouth while it was dormant.
so keep that in mind for yourself- you are NEVER 100% protected. i did nothing but protect myself and it still wasn't enough.

yea im going through the same thing. i used condoms but it broke on more than one occasion. my bf didnt know he had it . by the time i realised i had it we had broken up but still having sex. and we keep having sex cause obviouslt we dont want to spread it to anyone else but i force myself to have sex with him cause ifeel so dirty my sex drive is gone!!
and what makes matters even worse is that my highschool sweetheart lives in another country so our relationship was on hiatus until we were finished with college i really wanted to marry him, have kids, the whole works and now thats all a thing of the past. he;s really supportive and ironically that makes it worse cause it makes it harder to let go
