Hi! I have posted this question before but didn't really get an answer so hopefully someone will know. I am free of cervical cancer but my dr. wants me to have 3 internal radiation treatments starting in june. He said if the cancer comes back it will come back at the vaginal cuff so this is done as precaution. Has anyone else heard of this? I guess I need to get a 2nd opinion but i was hoping to get a more personal responese. Thanks in advance. Clare

yes I too had 3 internal treatments after surgery, chemo, and external radiation, then a big blast of chemo after the internal. for the same reason, return in vaginal cuff
