i'm only 20 and i have very deep lines that almost look like a necklace :dizzy:
just under my neck.

what can i get done? would botox work? its effecting my confidace so badly - i cant wear my hair in some styles as it draws attention to my age'd neck!

i used to never wear suncream you see and would always burn in this area... it's obvious that that's caused me premature aging.

also...........does botox hurt? i know its uncomfatable... but, is it any worse than say, an injection at the dentist, or getting you're blood taken?

thanks for any replies.

Are you talking about under your chin, neck area? You would not most likely use Botox in that area. It would be more of an injectable filler OR liposuction to the neck or a neck lift.

Agree. I go in tomorrow for Botox and I asked if I could get it in my neck but my derm only gives it in the neck for migraines. It's not the part of the neck that is under the chin either. There is a thing called the Titan procedure. It takes 4-6 treatments 4 weeks apart. It tightens the muscles and promotes collagen growth. You can get it anywhere on your face. I had my eyes, and neck done. It worked for me. Not as tight as I wanted but much better than getting surgery cause I'm afraid that I'll look funny afterwards.

There is a numbing cream that I was given a tube of to apply before each Titan treatment for my neck area. It's the same cream that the derm puts on me so I won't feel the ***** of the needle. I put it on yesterday in the waiting room while waiting for Botox. It works in about 5-7 minutes. I accidently rubbed my lips and got it under my nose. I'm kinda glad I did that cause I've been wanting to get Juvaderm in my lips but been to scared of the pain. While my lips were numb I could still feel when I pinched them with my nails. I need a stronger dose if I'm going to get my lips done.

As for the Botox It have been over 45 min since I put the cream on my face and it was starting to wear off. The one ***** between the eyes I felt. It didn't hurt but it did burn for a sec. The injections under my eyes I didn't feel nor do I ever want to. I think that would be really painful. I have 30 units for $450. I have my a Botox credit card and with every visit I get $25 off. Up to $100 The more Botox you get the longer it will last. I go back in Sept to get another round.

EDIT: I don't think there is much that is done for wrinkles by the collar bones. I have seen people get Laser to remove freckles and other blemishes there but for the wrinkles I'm just not sure. You can call any derm or plastic surgeon's office and ask if they offer that service

thanks very much for you're helpfull advice, i think i will pop into the nearest centre and have a consultaition. i feel silly as iam only 20, and making a fuss of lines, but i just know they will either get worse with time, or add to my future ones and make me look older.

i will also buy some of that numbing cream you mentioned, i dont care how much it will cost me, i would pay anything to be pain free :)

thanks again... any added advice/experiances from others will be helpfull also :)

xx
