Well had an ecg done yesterday and seems that my heart has become more irregular! Have asked here before if anyone can offer some support but not having much luck. Planning 2 ask doc if there's any support groups round vic area but still hoping someone might be able to help here. Wanna talk 2 people between 20-35 who have a heart condition that stops them from doing things 'normal' people do. Any1???????

I fall into that category. I am 34 and first was diagnose with SVT then AV nodal re-entrant tachycardia during my EP study. I am now on my fourth course of different meds and all of them have horrible side effect for me including extreme drop in heart rate and blood pressure. I cant even walk short period ( like really short) without getting out of breath. I watered my flowers outside the other day and was sooo dizzy when I got back in my BP was 96/35. Today my heart rate has been falling into the low 50's which is hard for someone who used to have a standing heart rate of 95. That I could handle it was the episodes of 180-200 BPM that were a problem.

I am on short term disability leave from work and I actually like my job : (
I get tired playing with my kids and the breathlessness and headaches and chest pain are constant all day it is hard to think of anything else. Now I have developed this odd catch your breath kind of cough. I dont get it. I am actually worried this is going to me serious than we all though.

So far I have an abnormal Kochs triangle ( ummm cant even describe that LOL) and enlarged SA node ( natural pacemaker) and my main arteries from the groin to heart do not come together as one they stay slip and enter as two different spots. I have something called persistent left sided inferior vena cava too. I am having a cardiac MRI soon to get a 3D map of me heart and we will go from there.

What exactly are you going though? I hope things get better for all of us.

Yeah i hope things get better 2. I have an enlarged heart my left ventrical leaks and of course the irregular heartbeat my pulse is 43 is usually only between 40-50. I also get short of breath and can't walk much which i hate cause used 2 walk all the time my kids take a lot out of me and i've recently found stress makes me phsically sick which is hard with 3 kids uder 9 and a bf who doesn't understand. I have had no operations even thaough i've had this since 98 been on lots of meds though now on dilatrend coversyl and lasix. I hate not being able 2 do most things and it's really bringing me down lately....sux
