My mother has bipolar disorder, and my older brother and I both have OCD.
I have this fear that I have bi-polar disorder as well, but I don't know if it works that way. Could this just be part of the OCD??
I get new worries every day, but the whole bi-polar thing seems to come back alot. Sometimes I get a fear that i have ADD too because my father and oler brother both have that. (oh god this thread is making my family sound like freaks) haha.

I'm not on any medications right now, and was wondering if they actually would help.

another question.. i have been smelling really weird things lately, and really randomly too. Does anyone know what this could be??

OCD can't *give* you another disorder but it can comorbidly exist with other disorders, such as bipolar, schizophrenia, eating disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, panic disorder, depression, etc. Mine comorbidly exists with GAD and used to exist with an eating disorder.
