Hi all,

I have low iron in my blood and acid reflux. Also, I have uterine fibroids. I want to hear from you any supplements for my situation? Also, I am going to decide whether I need to see naturalpathic medicine doctor or not as my family members do not trust these natural ways. They do not think any scientific reason in them.

Thank you for your help.

I think it would be important to make sure that your doctor is an MD, not just someone with a PhD, or something. Also, I personally avoid anyone practicing homeopathy, as I don't think homepathy makes scientific sense. If you can find a doctor who is knowledgeable about vitamins and supplements, that would be very good. Another good source of information about vitamins and supplements may be your pharmacist. Sometimes they are more knowledgeable about such things than doctors. For your acid reflux, I would drink a lot of green tea. Many cups. I have acid reflux too, and green tea is supposed to be very good for that, and I notice that green tea really helps me. Make sure the head end of your bed is elevated by about four inches at least. That helps with acid reflux too when you sleep.

I hope someone else responds to your other conditions.

Naturopaths and Homeopaths are legitimate health practitioners. It just depends on your orientation and what path you prefer to follow, or both. I use MD's for some things, mostly diagnostic testing, but then follow up with alternative modalities. A pharmacist will offer advise about drugs, because that is their business. A naturopath will suggest alternative therapies.

Regarding the low iron. Ferrofood is a good product.

Thank you for your thoughtful thought. That's my family members tell me all the time as Natural medicine is no scientific base. thank you. Also, lots of infor mation can be obtained from quakewatch.org.

I always buy the supplements that are based VITY award winner. I just find iron supplement from VITY award winner -Flora Inc. – Floradix Iron Plus Herbs . Did anyone try this supplement?

My MD doctor does not trust vitamin and supplements at all.

Thank you for your great suggestion. Do you know whether you can get Ferrofood from health store?

Certainly, this iron supplement is better than iron pill from doctor's subscription. right?

Thanks.

My MD doctor does not trust vitamin and supplements at all.

This is just the way I look at it, but if my MD did not trust vitamins and supplements at all, then I would look for another MD who is more open-minded.

Probably not at HFS, but maybe something similar and just as good. I ordered mine.
