The doc said my dads glucose level is to low and needs to be raised. Both his parents had diabetes so his risk factor is high. So what can he do to get his glucose level up?

Thanks

You want to raise it? Or did you mean lower?

For raising it, if he has a problem with low blood sugar, and it's actually low at the time, give about 15 grams of simple sugar, followed by some protein once the level is up.

To prevent lows in the future a diet of eating complex carbs plus protein every 2-4 hours is recommended.
