I am a healthy, somewhat active, over weight, 38 yo female. For the last month I have been having episodes where I get sharp, needle like "electric shock" sensations in y left foot. It comes on unexpectedly and last @ 15-20 seconds. It feels like I am being jabbed with needles.
I just remembered this.. a few years ago I used to get the sensation of being shocked as I walked. I remember thinking it was the vaccum cause I'd often get it while vaccuming. Then it happened while not vaccuming and I knew it was me. I haven't had it in a while and now this new stuff. It has to be connected? I don't understand why only 1 foot though?
I have always had poor circulation in my feet and like right now they are very cold and tingly because I have been sitting at my desk for a while. However, the pain I have been getitng for a month is not tinlgy, it is sharp and sudden.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jean
