im wondering if anyone can help me, i am 14weeks pregnant and found out my babys dad has got another girl pregnant, so im getting myself checked out, im jus wondering if my midwife will be able to check me, as i have an appointment wit her on thursday and the earliest doctors appointment i can get is next week.

I m not 100% sure but I dont think mid-wifes have the materials to check you for STD's. She may be able to see the visible symptoms (discharge for example) and help you from her own personal opnions, I suggest seeing an OBGYN for a proper diagnosis! Good Luck and keep me posted!
