Hi Iwas wondering when you get a report from your gyn do they usually tell you if you have inflammation. I had a pap about three months ago. I received a letter from my gyn stating that no pre cancer or cancer was detected. Since then, I have been having bleeding after intercourse. I called my gyn and was told that it was prob due to the inflammation noted on my pap. I was not told anything about this. I am no on metrogel to see if it is an infection and I was told if after the treatment, I still have bleeding, I should come in for a endrometrial biopsy. I am in pre menopause. All this has me a little worried.

I had a pap smear done on me and when my doctor pulled his hand out it was covered in blood. He said I had an inflammation and when he scraped for the culture it aggraved it and opened it up. After having sex I bled too. I questioned him about it and he told me that it was most probably the force from the penis. It either rubbed the scab off or just rubbed it raw.
If your tests came back normal I think you will be fine. Mine came back postive for pre cancer cells but they have since gone away.
