Has anyone been prescribed this for their ulceritive colitis? I just got back from the dr. and this is what he prescribed for me. It is a new drug, once a day instead of 3 times a day!! Yippie. But kinda weary about being a new drug.... so if anyone has tried this, etc please let me know what you think:) Thanks!!!

i, too, am on Lialda. been taking two full months. my ulcerative colitis had gotten pretty bad (at least to me) and after about a month, i could tell a difference. it's been two months now and i'm definitely much better. my doc said that i could expect to still have flare ups but each time not as bad and that is just how it has been going. not sure if my increased joint pain is from arthritis or could be from the lialda. at this point, i'll live with the joint pain. when i go to doc next month, i'll ask if it could be related.
