hi

can some one advise im really worried i have had acid reflux now for 4 years my doc has never sent me for a scope- i only had so far tests done

bloods
stomach x ray
ph monitor testing 24 hours
and ultrasound test
all clear apart from ph test which said i had reflux

whats worrying me now cause the meds is keeping the acid at bay i just have lots of burping and gas /wind comming up (is this a sied effect to ppis)

2. should my gp have sent me for an endoscope by now? after 4 years?? im 33 years old.

im scared now incase its somethin serious like barretts or somethin nasty

please help ;o(

You need to ask for the endoscopy. I had acid reflux for 3 yrs and the doctor never send me for endoscopy until I asked for it.
