Orly66 05-23-2007, 04:43 PM I am having a vitrectomy on Friday, I have a pm timeslot and historically poor blood glucose control - I have been told to ensure my control is tight but have never had to control fasting BG for 24 hours plus before! Any advice?! Any advice?! My advice would be to call and tell them you are diabetic and you need an AM time slot. I always get the first spot in the morning when I need to go under a general. |
