Hi!! I'm 40 and have type 2 DM ...have gained ALOT of weight over the last year. I was on metformin and got better BG #'s but now my doc has switched me to Byetta. I'm only on Byetta 5mgs and have already lost 15 pounds in 4 weeks, I'm now being moved up to 10 mgs....will the weight loss continue??? How does the switch from 5mgs to 10 mgs go for most people?? I have had nausea and vomiting but as the month has progressed it's gotten less, will it start all over again now that I'm increasing to Byetta 10mgs?? Any input would be GREAT!!! Thanks, Jen in NJ
