I am very forgetful about things lately. Only been taking about .75mg per day for 5-6months. My p-doc says that xanax does cause a little short term memory loss.
It is hard to explain. It is not like I am forgetting things I am just having to think harder about things that used to be automatic.

Anybody else noticed this?

Xanax's do cause memory loss as you described short term. Don't ever drink and eat Xanax's cause you'll never figure out what you done during that time hehe.

Yes, I've noticed short term memory loss too and find it very annoying. I'm experiencing this on only .50 a day. It is even worse on days when I take a little more than that.

Yes your memory loss will come back. The first time I ever took a Xanax it scared the crap out of me because I wasn't used to it and had some bad memory loss. It could take some time for your memory to come back when you are off them. Then maybe again your body will adjust to them and your memory loss won't be that bad.
