appel1999 05-25-2007, 10:04 PM I just had this procedure done and forgot to ask what happens to the staples. Are they removed, dissolve, permanent? Thanks... Sponsor Brocallie 05-26-2007, 08:50 AM You just "poo them out" when the 'roid falls off. appel1999 05-26-2007, 10:20 AM Thank you... PPH help please 08-10-2007, 05:09 AM I had the PPH done last Monday, 8/6/07 in the late afternoon adn was sent home that evening. I haven't been able to go to the bathroom to do a bm. I really want to go, but afraid to push...I'm on collace, percocets, and eating as well as I can...not sure what to do. My shower head is able to reach the toilet so I've been running warm water down my butt as I sit there but nothing happens, but I keep passing gas all day long. Have you been able to go to the bathroom yet? I think I have a UTI now too since I'm pissing (drops) while in bed...I am terrified and have to go back to work on Monday. I was sore all evening on Monday and Tuesday night. Can you tell me what to expect when I go to the bathroom and do you ahve any tips? I am scared/terrified of going to the bathroom to bm. I was told not to "strain" to go, but that's the only way I know is to push? I suffered from the "roids" for 3 years - they started on the day I started labor with my youngest. I am terrified of having to do my first bm at work...please help me. I am not sure who to talk to, this is so embarassing. All the doctors says take warm tub bath, collace, mineral oil (yuk - I'll vomit that in heart beat). Should I be doing suppositories - I'm afraid of doing that. I'm also afraid of taking another phospo-soda - I had to take 2 of those before surgery and that was painful to drink and deal with...I need help please...please...I'm desperately feeling "backed up" and can't function. please help. |
