I can't figure this out. I have Addisons but I also have high blood pressure. Eeryone that post with adrenal problems says low blood pressure is the case.
Do you suppose they misdiagnosed me? Or am I just dealing with two different problems comletley. I take high blood pressure medicine. And ofcoarse my hydrocordisone and DHEA-PROG. Boomer

Hello,
I too have high blood pressure, but only for the last 6 months or so. A water pill and a beta blocker won't even lower it...it has been as high as 145/105. I am now trying to get my dr. to test my adrenals, antibodies and all that. I think maybe my blood pressure is high either from too much aldosterone or my undertreated Hashimoto's thyroid disease. I had my am cortisol tested and it was 6. My dr. says I now probably have another autoimmune disease...with anemia too. Before all that my blood pressure was so low, I would fall over whenever I stood up :dizzy: . I am not on Cortisone yet...just Armour thyroid and blood pressure pills.

Dang drs. anyhow  ...it has taken them over 8 years to finally do these tests...I have asked over and over.
