Thanks for checking up on my carsam. Im actually not doing to well right now. Just pretty down and just completely feed up with this place. Its almost been 12 months ive been here. Im just trying to grind out the days until I get to go home, but it feels like time has stopped. Sorry I dont have much good new for you but thanks for caring.

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so down....but I would guess all your feelings are very normal for what you are going through. I'm sure alot of you probably get to this point, where you have had enough and just want to go home. Sniper, if you are feeling low, there are awesome people over on the depression board as well you can talk to okay? I usually post there. You could easily fall into this, so make sure you find some support so when you get back home, you'll be ready to continue your life with all those plans you have!!!!!

I dont suffer from depression but my mom does. I can get very low sometimes from different family issues, but the people on that board are very supportive as well. Just a suggestion if you are feeling down.......I completely understand your feeling of being trapped. How much longer do you have left now to be there? Listen, if you like, I would be happy to keep you company until you get home safely to your family!!! I'll check in with you, and we can exchange stories and thoughts. I'm happy to listen if you need someone to talk to, if it's about "work" or the "weather". OK? The offer is there okay? Sniper your mission now is not just to serve your country, your mission moreso is to protect yourself, and your heart!!! To finish this off and go back to your family, your life and your friends, as a stronger person for it. Of course you will not be exactly the same as you've had to witness and endure alot of ugly realities, but try to maintain that great spirit you have!!! Now is the time to fight getting depressed, it may be a bigger battle than the obvious one you're there for.
I'm heading out on vacation today.....going to Alberta Canada to the Rocky Mountains. When I am up there a little "closer than usual" to the man upstairs, I will say a prayer for your safe return home Sniper, both physically and mentally!!!
