Does anxiety go on and on forever? I need to get back on track with my life and stop letting anxiety rule my plans. What are the long term effects from what feels likea big adreneline dump in the body and constant tenseness, other effects, besides psychological?

I can only say i pray not....but i have been having what they call anixety and panic attacks for 7 yrs now with no relief only gettting stronger and worse...so if you find something that works...please let me know.............tina

I think it depends on the person and what is setting them off. I personally have had panic attacks for 14 years now. Some years are not so bad and others are just plain horrible. I have heard of people who have had anxiety get better, but then there are also stories of people who have been dealing with anxiety, panic or both for a very long time. It just depends.
