Hey everyone, I have noticed a single red bump towards the top of my penis, the opposite end to the head, that bursts when squeezed a very white substance, almost like a spot or pimple. Is this something to be concerned about or is it a complication from shaving the area?

Thanks, advice would be appreciated.

Seems like it could have just been a bump from shaving, if more appear or the same one comes back (in the same spot) I would see a Dr. just to be safe!

It is either a pimple or molluscum (herpes and genital warts do not secrete pus). Molluscum tend to look rounder and flat on top with clearer edges, while pimples are usually more volcano-shaped.

Ahh thanks guys, appreciate the comments, it has gone away now so thats good to know. I seem to remember having something similar a year or so ago not long after shaving. Thanks all :)
