Quick question. I was diagnosed with acid reflux. I am assuming the LPR kind because of my sudden dysphagia and the fact my larynx was slightly inflamed (although I think it may have been from coughing since I had no other LPR symptoms other than dysphagia..no hoarseness, burning sensation in throat..no voice changes, etc)
Regardless, for those out there that have LPR with dysphagia..what is your sensation down there? Does it feel like food is getting stuck in the throat or some other place or is it some other symptom? Any assistance would be appreciated. I am a 28, almost 29 year old male that is going crazy with the sudden onset of this dysphasia for solids (no problems with liquids)

I don't know what I have my endo was clear in October and my only sensation is swallowing problems. After endo swallowing problems went away and as I mentioned in another post the swallowing problems started up after not drinking enough water one day with my vitamins and well its been hell. I think alot may be anxiety because I am thinking about it. By the way I am 42.

So after the endoscope your problems went away? Do you think they were anxiety related or LPR or a little of both?

I am not sure what it is. I think a majority is anxiety related.

I am hoping to have some answers this week. I am getting a GI scope, and I had a CT scan last Friday which will hopefully rule out cancer..something that may set my mind at ease..
Let me know if you find anything out:) I will let you know what I find out as well
