Hi All:

I've been living with OCD (mainly bad thoughts) since I was a teenager. I was wondering if anyone's symptoms seemed to get worse when things are going well in their lives. For example, we redid our study over the weekend and I was just having one bad obsessive thought after another. Similarly, when I was promoted recently, my anxiety greatly increased.

I think it's the changes that acompany good fortune that cause anxiety.
If you've ever seen one of those life change stress charts, going on a vacation is considered about as stressful as a death in the family.
