I start college in less then a month and have classes 5 day's a week. From 8AM to 5PM, if I'm not in a class, I'm either walking to another one or studying. It's not like I can stop somewhere and cook a meal to consume protien from solid foods. I don't want to live off of protein bars all the time, that will get expensive! And it's not like I can pack my backpack full of pre-prepared food's.

Does anyone have some suggestions?
Something I can take out in the middle of class or on the go. Nothing too big, but packs protien and calories.

i was in the same boat as you when i started college and was trying to gain weight. i got a meal plan and at my school its all you can eat so i got something to eat at home early before going to school, then i'd have the all you can eat at around noon.

then at around three, i'd have a protein shake. i got some protein powder ($40 at GNC for a huge container that lasts a long time) and took some of the powder with me in a water bottle. i then simply got water from a fountain and made a shake. its the only thing i could think of. it really is hard trying to eat all those ridiculous meals when you have school/work.

bag of nuts - has protein, fat, high in calories, tastes good, and is inconspicuous.
