Hi. My names Jess, I'm 17, with a pain that comes and goes and seem's to be concentrated on the left side of my head, right by the temple. Bright light's tend to be a bit painful. Right now this monitor screen seem's horribly bright! I also suffer from flashy stuff, and blind spots; then again, I am supposed to be wearing glasses for short sightedness, but they are broken at the moment. In combination with this, I do spend a lot of time reading thing's up close, or focusing on a monitor screen. I do have a healthy diet, all meal's come from basic ingredients, and I am at a very good weight, but I smoke. I intake caffiene from tea, and I used to drink a lot of drink's containing aspartame which I've heard can cause migraines. I've been off that horrid stuff for three days now, and I know I am never going to touch it again - I am currently flushing it out with water and detox tea's.
I suffer a lot of anxiety and panic attack's, although since I have been on hormone relacement [oh yeah, I also have an underactive thyroid, recently diagnosed] I have had them less, but I was wondering if either of those factors could also contribute? I keep fearing I have a tumour, and it keep's me up at night. But no one listens, as I am the family "hypocondriact", and have in the space of a year thought I had breast cancer, heart disease, lung disease, an aortic dissection, pregnancy DESPITE being unbelievably careful, using all mean's of contraception to the point of rediculousness, and many other things. I am hoping beyond hope that it is infact just a migraine due to a combination of factor's I have mentioned. If this helps, it appears to go with rest, and comes back about an hour after I wake, but it is not present all day. Infact yesterday I only got it at night.
Please help me. =[
