So I've had allergies, or I'm assuming they're allergies. Dry itchy throat, really bad cough, runny nose, a little bit of sinus pain. When I breath, I can feel the cough/throat stuff vibrating around inside my chest (that gross feeling!!)

anyways, my real question.

The right side of my head feels super pressured and achey. I don't get headaches ever so this may sound stupid but I really don't know what they're like. There is one spot that has a SHARP and painful and scary hurt for like 2 seconds every half hour or so, but the area around it still aches a lot. Is this connected to the allergies or sinuses or cold that I have?

Nothing to worry about, right?

I've also been under some stress (less than I have been in a long time, but a different kind of stress), have just started having caffiene again, and am standing for 6-8 hours at a time (if that even makes a difference, I don't know). I also got very little sleep last night and had to get up at 4:45 AM.

Any thoughts?

Pollen is really high this year, higher than normal. It does sound like it's probably just allergies but it can turn into a sinus infection. If it does not clear might wanna see a doc for antibiotics.

It could be both allergies and a migraine. Given that you said the sharp pain is on one side of your head, alot of people suffer migraines like that where it is in one spot in your head. Mine are an entire head thing. You might go see a chiropractor and your regular doctor. A chiro to just help get yourself alligned properly and a regular doctor to tell you if it is a sinus infection.

One way to tell if it is sinus related is to press above your eyebrows. If you feel pain (pressing gently but hard enough to feel it), it could be a sinus thing.

FromSqueaky is right! Pollen is horrible this year. I am really sensitive to tree pollen and less sensitive to grass pollen and this year, I was in so much pain and so sick from the tree pollen that I am actually considering getting a shot or medicine to try to help myself next year. And, the grass pollen had me uncomfortable this year too. Usually I might be a bit congested and have an itchy nose but, this year, I had a runny and stuffy nose. So, what you are having may simply be a worse than usual reaction to this years pollen.

Take care and I hope you feel better!
