Hi, new to the boards. I am constantly tired, no matter how much sleep I get. I was referred to a sleep center and the doc recommended I first see an ENT due to very large tonsils. The ENT said yes, my tonsils are huge but left it up to me if I wanted a tonsilectomy. My tonsils don't really bother me, but I would be willing to go through the procedure if it would help me get my life back. I really wasn't pleased with the sleep center doc as I felt like she just wanted to dismiss me, when I went back to tell her what the ENT said she grudgingly agreed to a sleep study w/o the tonsilectomy but made it sound like a waste of time. I can't even get in until late July. Has anyone had a tonsillectomy and found relief? Thanks.
