SO most of the dizzies I have had were fleeting light dizzies. I was just sitting there eating dinner and got bad heavy (like an anchor on my head) Dizzy. Scared me right into a meclizine. Is that normal this far into this anyone else have a huge heavy squish your head into the floor vertigo??

It usually gets worse before it gets better. If you were doing any of your VRTs today, it was probably an onset. Its okay! Relax! Dont worry, just continue with your VRTs and it will pass.

Yeah but is it normal to have a severe dizzy spell like that 3 months into it. I did add soem more VRT's but this was so scary. Feeling really off right now. Feel like it could hit at any sec. Was like a car landed on my head almost like the very first attack. Why is this so scary??? Did you ever get hit like this or feel like this?? What helps you feel better when severe dizzies attack??

Its the VRTS! Its normal, remember what i said that the exercises will make you feel worse and cause more dizziness. This is what is happening and its a good thing because your brain is getting it. I felt the same way, i had a bad two weeks when i first started my Vrts. Keep doing them even though you dont feel good, but as your PT said to start slow.

Yep, Jax is right on.

VRTs, all and any will cause you to get bad at first...then much better. I remember when I first started....fog, heavy head, headache....all that stuff came on so harsh.

Spread out the exercises. Don't do them all at once. Eat and drink between the down time....

Try to relax best you can.

Yes D & S I would say it normal to ocassionally be hit with one like that. try to stay clam, it probably won't happen again for a while.

Hi,

Yes I,ve had the same experience around 5 times now its awful and terriifying as you quite rightly say, I have found all I can do is try to lie down and then sleep after one of these particular attacks its not unsual to sleep for 12- 14 hours thats me though and I know were all different. I also cannot work for 2 / 3 days as totally out of it.

Cathy
