Well, i got my results back yesterday. The oesophagus is normal but they say i have Chronic active gastris, caused by H pilori. They are staring me on 2 anti-biotic for 2 weeks.
So let's see. I have stoped the PPI, I will fight it, i am no longer going to take them.

John, I hope everything goes well for you. Keep us posted on your progress.
Hi John...please don't stop your ppi's until pylori has gone...
the use of only one medication to treat H. pylori is not recommended... the most effective treatment is a 2-week course of treatment called triple therapy. It involves taking two antibiotics to kill the bacteria and either an acid suppressor or stomach-lining shield. Two-week triple therapy reduces ulcer symptoms, kills the bacteria, and prevents ulcer recurrence in more than 90 percent of patients.

thank you for your advice. I am sticking to it. it's just that i have never ever taken that many pills in my life (4 pills 2x a day: amoxicillin, clarithromycin and prevacid ) and the pills are huge. i don't have diarrhea just some stomach pain and i feel hungrier that usual.
2 weeks goes fast.
