I am actually writing for my neighbour who has a 21 year old autistic son, non verbal. According to his IEP he is vocal and can do a work programme in the food industry. From seeing him and speaking with his mother. This would be virtually impossible, yet if she does not agree to it they take $500 a month from his check. Does anyone know of any good probono attorneys or websites to which I can direct her, she needs the money for him and also is in fear for his safety as he cannot leave the house alone. I also have a son who is only 5 who has autism, but thankfully he is somewhat verbal. Would love some help.
