I am sorry you are feeling like that Susie. I completely know how you feel. I don't know if you remember or not, but we used to talk months and months ago, probably last November or so. And I got really fed up with everything and even stopped posting for awhile too. I hope you feel better. I know for me, it really helps talking with people who care and understand. Hang in there, and if you ever need anything just let me know. Like many other people on these boards I can tell that you are a wonderful person and deserve to be happy and healthy! ;)

 Hi I remember we had some good chats.

I don't feel very wonderful at the moment, I just feel as though I'm bringing everyone down, they don't want to hear my complaining.

Thanks again for your support, the same applys for me.

I really hope all works out for you.

:D Your right there :D

I never used to moan about anything, my dad did though and I used to want to die right there in my boots!!

But now I'm the first one to moan, I can't help it, my husband says I'm a lower class snob!! (charming ;) )

Thanks for saying you don't mind listening it's great to know!!

Your a big help :bouncing:

Fairy Lights,

I have not posted to this board before but have been following posts for quite awhile as my sister has lymphoma.

Like you she had stomach and back swelling, groin pain, etc. Her spleen had enlarged to the point of pushing her other organs in all directions. Stomach had been pushed down by her left hip bone. Chest pain from lungs being pushed upwards. She had been feeling very badly for several years even though her blood work always came back normal. A bone marrow biopsy came back showing lymphoma. She underwent chemo and is now in remission.

My dear Fairy Lights, Please seek more help. Ask for a bone marrow or a scan of your spleen to see what is going on. Spleens can be removed but don't wait any longer. I am just an old grandma worrying about a sweet mommy who is suffering and needs help.

Hugs to you.

 Bless you Sanwon, it is very kind of you to write such a lovely message.

I am so glad to hear that your sister is in remission :)

I am scared to ask

Part of me really wants to find out what's wrong, and another part of me is scared to find out, I do really want to get better.

I have lost so much due to being ill, I had a really good job, and have been out of work for a year I just want to feel well enough to go back.

Thank you so much, it means a lot, your all lovely.

I hope you are well Susie xx

Fairy my friend,

I am so worried about you! I did read the posting regarding the rare result of your biopsy and maybe this can get you somewhere. I always use to believe that doctors knew everything but come to find out they are human and don't know all.
I go today for my doctor's appt. I am glad to go but hate going to the doctors! I will let you know what happens.
Yes, I am still working out. I have been running a consistent 3.5 miles per day and lifting weights 2X per week. I love to run. Once the endorphins kick in it feels soooo good.
This week has been strange for me. First, I am very allergic to certain preservitives in meats, frozen meats, salami, pepperoni, meats like that. I made a frozen meat lazagna Sunday night and started feeling the effects Monday and forward. I get itchy and get a rash and I have actually had to go to the hospital before because of it when my throat was closing up. I didn't think this had the bad stuff in it, but it did. Then I take benedryl which knocks me out and for a loop. Today is the 1st day this week I feel better and not that horrible itchy way. It feels not just an itchy feeling but like pinpricks under my skin. Hard to explain. My hands get really hot and feel big. It is not fun and I have to just be more careful!
Please post back and let me know how you are doing today. Hopefully better. Also, have you made any new appts with any other doctors?

Luv to you!

Deb ;)

Hi my friend Fairy!!

So good to hear from you this morning!!
Appt went good, had my pap done. I am scheduled for an ultrasound on Tuesday to see if there are any abnormalities that could be causing the heavy bleeding. After the pap and ultrasound come back we will then discuss which option would be best for me. I am hoping that it will be the non-invasive surgery which only requires small incisions to remove a part of the area instead of a full one. It is still major surgery and I would still have to stay over in the hospital but the recovery time is quicker.
I also have to get a mamogram. It is my baseline one (1st one). I hate tests and I know everyone does. It is the waiting to find out the results that is the worse. At least I am moving on with it. I am really bad with getting to the doctors cause I get so nervous. :dizzy:

How are you feeling today? I hope at least a tad better!!!:)
Monday, are you are making the ENT appt? I hope that this doc can get some more answers and then results. We all want you to feel good and be up and about like you deserve to be! I will keep praying.

I hope you had a great Saturday (your day is probably much farter along now than mine cause of the time difference). Let me know how you are!

Luv and hugs,

Deb

 Hi there :D

I am glad that your appointment went as well as it could off, believe you me, after all the consultants and docs I have had to go and see, I would be used to it by now, but the more i see, the less confident I become.

Please don't worry especially about the mama gram, it's a bit uncomfortable not too bad, like someone squeezing your breast a bit too much!! (lol)

I feel a bit better mentally today, as i have decided I have had enough of being a fat momma  I want to be a yummy mummy!!

Today was really warm, so I sat in the garden, and got a red tan:confused:

If you have any questions about the op, or anything just go ahead and :bouncing: right in.

I had to be cut from tummy button down due to my enlarged spleen, I wish I could of had key hole but I had everything removed.

it's great not having my monthly visitor, and it's one less expense!!

love you, speak soon Susie xx

WHERE ARE YOU

Come on girl, speak to me:confused: are you alright, or am i just so sad for not being able to sleep yet again, and coming on here?

Have you had a chance to think about everything that was discussed in your appointment? What does your husband think, is he being supportive now?

You'll let me know soon enough,

lots of love a hug and a kiss your friend Susie xx

Hi sweet susie! ,

I am fine. Waiting for some test results and more to come. I am lucky in the fact that my hubby is supportive of me and my health. He is a good husband. His Mom is quite the mean person though and it is odd how well of person he became in life with her as his mother.
So you got out into the sun and got a little color-GOOD FOR YOU! It feels good to get out into the sun and the outdoors. I am a real outdoors kinda girl. I love to be outside. Our weather is cold/snowy/rainy in the winter; rainy and some sun in the spring; summer time I am outside soaking up the sun! Fall is beautiful!
I also read that you are gonna join a gym, maybe? Take it slowly and build up. I bet that it will help give you some energy. In reading about your diagnosis from the biopsy it sounds like your symptoms could just disappear. But when!!!! Very strange!
How are you feeling today and did you get any sleep?

I'll talk with ya in a bit.

Luv,
Deb

 hi hon,

thank you for getting back to me, i am so glad that you are well:)

I am going to ask for a second opinion, as it doesn't explain the enlarged spleen and other symptoms like itching etc.

I am feeling really tired and achy and no I haven't yet had any sleep:dizzy:

It sounds lovely where you live!!

let me know how your tests go, and ignore the monster mother in-law, we have had this chat a few times haven't we?

It sounds like a good idea joining a gym in my head, not quite sure what it would be like in theory though:confused:

love to you Susie xx
