Hi everyone,
I posted this on the Lung board as well..
I am brand new to this board and hoping that I can find some advice, or maybe someone who was or is in a similar situation like me.
I am a 34 yr old..who has been dealing with swollen lymph nodes for about 9 months now, painless etc, I am actually going in on Tuesday to have one biopsied. ( Left cervical node) My quiestion though is if anyone had any similar findings on their Chest CT scan as I did...
The abnormal part states " Ther are several focal regions of stellate ( what is this) and ground glass parenchymal chang in bot lungs, sparing the right middle lobe. There appears to be some traction bronchiectasis within a couple of these regions".
I have no ideas at all..anyone??? The only thing my Pulm thought of was Sarcoid, but my ACE test came back normal and my ESR was at 1. So if we put together all these things, what could they possibly rule out??
I have 3 small boys and thought the exhaustion etc was from that, I also have a tough time breathing sometimes, a history of V-tach, SVT's and bradys as well, all went for cardiac ablations for. have run a low grade fever, but not always since all of this is going on., itching around swollen lymph nodes, actually had a rash there awhile ago, no appetite, chills, not feeling right at all.
Could my lymph nodes and abnormal lung findings be related to one another or two seperate things?? Does anyone have any advice or heard of anything that I can further check up on?? I had so many blood test done, Lymes, Mono, cat scratch, rocky mountain spotted fever etc....I am soooooo lost here and scared and feel all alone. I didn't receive a call back from my pulm either after I got my blood results stating the ACE was normal, when the pulm. thought for sure it would be high and lead to sarcoidosis.
Thank you all so much for reading this and in advance of any ideas!!
ALl blood was normal except the esr level was at a 1. You would think that it would have been high, due to the lymph nodes...
Thank you!! I hope to oneday offer my advice to others, but right now, I am new to this and can only think and pray for all of you!!

 Hi There,
i am so sorry that you are feeling so worried and confused right now, unfortunately I can't offer you any advice on what you scan results suggested.
Did you ask your consultant?
If i were you, I would try not to worry until you have had the results back from your biopsy.
Good luck, I hope all goes well for you.
