If you think ur gona hook up with a girl is it wrong to say "Hey, lets get tested first"? Will they get turned off and think ur gey or something, or will they get offended and think u thought they were a ****? I know girls want to get swept up in the moment but thats not really a good thing when it comes to STDs and avoiding them. If you do convince a girl to get tested with u, wont the heat of the moment fade and she might wana not do it anymore, no?

If someone asked me I'd be happy that they were responsible. It would not bother me in the slightest to go for tests.

I would also just be happy that they were responsible enough to think of it, not to mention suggest it. Just because you get tested ahead of time doesn't mean that the actual sex can't be spontaneous and in the heat of the moment once both partners come back clean :)

Yeah but wont it kill the attraction cuz the girl will know u want her and the pursuit will be over? Also, do girls usually make sure their partner's tested before they hook up with them?

I would not be offended if asked to test. I would happily do so. I would expect the same from my partner.
If I was ever single again, I wouldn't have sex period without a clean bill of health from the both of us. Even if he said he'd tested, he'd have to just go again and show me the results before I'd do so much as breath in his direction.
