i had a surgery to get rid of my bunion on my right foot in december its bugged me forever.
its ok now it hurts a bit but a couple weeks later from then my other foot has started to hur alot i can hardly walk on it, and this foot never has bugged me at all my toes are fine on this foot i can move it around and everything or atleast i used to be able to. i was wondering if i got it removed would i still be able to move my toes arounf like used to be i wouldn't be asking this because i've already had th other one removed, but i couldn't move those toes before and i can hardly now, but my other foot thats hurting me now i could move them perfectly no pain nothing till a couple months ago. so i'm not sure if i want to tell my doctor yet.
mayb thers something else tha i could do besides surgery right now i'm active and i'm on my feet alot and i don't like to take things slow ( i'm only 14) but right now i can hardly even wear shoes i'm living in flip flops or bare feet.
if anyone has any suggestions i would appretiate it.
thanks alot

Hi.my daughter is 7 and is having both her feet fixed on wednesday.U need to go see your docter..seeing him does not mean u will have sergury.Your feet have to keep going for many years and you need to take care of them at all times.Speak to your parents and have them take you to see thr dr.As far as comfort goes, try get a pair of CROC shoes. They are very comfortable due to the wide toe box...do you know the croc shoe??

hey Anna.. I had my first surgery when I was 16. About a year later my other foot got so bad I was back to the doctor, even though it wasn't hurting when I had my first surgery. I think the strain of using the alternate foot in order to baby the operated foot sped up the progress of my bunions. I wound up with a second operation 2 years after the first. I recommend going and at least seeing what the doc said. It's possible that you just irritated the foot by favoring it and it may be a simple solution, but it's better to catch it at an early stage. Good luck!
