hi there new to this. dont know where to start. my mum is 61 years old and has had ms for about 25 years. she has already lost her speach is confussed alot of the time and needs a wheel chair all the time now. today she was taken into hospital again. woke up this morning to find her in the bed stiff and staring with fixed eyes over the last few months her breathing in a morning is real bad takes about 30 mins to clear the mucas from her chest by her coughing and spitting it out. sorry to be graffic but just cant believe it cant get any worse please help me. i need to know what to expect next. The doctor said she had a petit mal fit. she makes this shhhhhhhhh noise anyone help.

Sylvia, I'm afraid I don't have any experience or knowledge that might be helpful. But I really want to tell you how sorry I am that you are having to deal with such scary stuff. I WILL pray for you and your mum. Please, let us know how you are both doing.

Sylvia, I echo the sympathies for what you and your mother are going through. Only thing I can add is to make sure that everything is checked out. MS is such a mystery because it can affect everyone so differently but I sometimes fear things can too easily be written off to this condition when there are other problems. I hope they get to the bottom of it and that she's doing better soon!
