About 2-3 days ago I got these bumps, whats looks like moquito bites all over my body. Most of them itch. They have not gone away and since yesterday, I've had these small bumps on the inside of my mouth (NOT tongue) - they don't itch but are very annoying. I've had a ear ache (my right ear) and sore throat the past 2 days also. I probably should add: Three days ago I put highlights in my hair, I'm not sure if I had an allergic reaction to it or not. I also didn't use the gloves. =\ So I may had the chemicals still on my hands. Also, that same day.. I put some makeup on (which, stupid me.. was very old makeup) and right afterwards, my right eye became red, itchy.. what I assume was pink eye. The pink eye is what seemed to start all of this.. I was wondering, could I have had an allergic reaction to the makeup? Or the hair dye? And if so, does that explain these annoying bumps in my mouth?

Please help. I leave out of town in 2 days, and I'm not sure if I should go see a doctor before hand or not. =\

It really does sound like an allergic reaction- have you tried a Benedryl or other over the counter antihistamine to see if it helps?

Well, I went to the health clinic today and the lady really wasn't sure what it was. (the red spots anyways) ..She thinks they are mites/chigger bites. Im pretty sure they are NOT chigger bites, but mites.. I don't know. Don't those come from your bed? And I share a bed, and no one else in the house has the same thing. She gave me a type of steroid for my sore throat and ear infections. I believe it's called Medrol.

I asked if it could be caused by an allergic reaction, and she looked at me like I was stupid and said "No." So I don't know.. the nurses aren't that helpful there. =\

I'm going to get the Medrol and try it out tonight and hopefully I'll get better and have no weird side effects. I have the ulcers in my mouth and she told me to use benadryl. Although, last time I used Benadryl (for allergies).. I passed out later that night, not sure if its from the medication or not. But I'm scared to use benadryl now.

Benedryl is often used as a sleep aid (it's the "P.M." in Tylenol PM). If it makes you fall asleep it's not surprising. Claritin is available over the counter; it is non-sedating and still works well for most people.

You may have a dust mite allergy, those are the bed/carpet/pillow bugs. They are invisible to the naked eye, so you can't see them to clean 'em up. Best bet: wash your bed linens regularly, vacuum your mattress (yes, it really works), and keep the carpet in your room clean (if you can't remove it entirely). If this stuff works, along with antihistamines, you'll know where your allergy comes from.
