I take metoclopramide for nausea, it seems to work well, not perfect all the time though, but better than constant nausea.
I know some doctors dont like to prescribe anti nauseants to be taken over a long period of time as i guess you can get dependant on them, but i have had no bad side effects as yet and ive been taking them for a year and a half.

BRISSON1 yea this is a whole new ball game to me to day i went to see a doctor and there was only 3 prescriptions that he could think of he asked 4 times if i was pregnant like i would magically get pregnant between questions....Because he told me there was a prescription for nausea during pregnancy...i cant remember the name of it like it matters anyway aint pregnant cant take it then the doctor mentioned an Anti phsycotic medication that REALLY take good care of nausea knockz ya right out causes extreme drowsiness ...the last medication he mentioned was something prescribed for people goin through chemotherapy ...and i thought well my goodness if it gets that bad i can ask my Mother for some of her pills as she is going through chemo right now ...Since i obviously have a terrible memory i have written the name of the prescription you have mentioned and i will talk to my doctor ...btw...sorry for typing so much
Thank you

I think mine is the kind they give sometimes when people have chemo, not sure though, there are several different types i have tried, and have found this is the best for me as i dont get drowsiness. They also prescribe the type i take for gastroparesis.
