I am 17 and have a common cold but this has never happened before. Today this has happened twice. Out of nowhere without any movement or physical action needed i can hear and ever so slightly feel a light crunching or crinkling noise in my head. At first I thought it was just mt ears popping but it seems to be coming from either the sinuses in the nose or physically in my head. I have no idea to what this is, please help!

Hi Anon,
it's your sinuses that are crackling. does it hurt your head when you have to bend down to put on your shoes or have to pick something up off the floor?
I too get that from time to time and I have problems with my sinuses.
out of no where it will crackle and hurt from pressure.
you should speak to your parents if it continues and see if they can get you and over the counter product to dry up your sinuses. plus you should always seek medical attention from you dr first to make sure you can take the medication.
