I have been using an old lawn mower for years and after I mow with it I had a terrible headache. I am sure there is something wrong with its combustion and I'm unsure whether this can cause brain damage? Can it?

With me, it actually is allergies, not the mower.
If you suspect that it is the mower, however, what about getting it serviced?

i am very susceptible to headaches, and if your lawn mower is very noisy, vibrates, or smells of petrol, this could easily bring on a headache. try swapping your mower for a model that you can push, or a flymo.
