My appointment was crazy , I was pushed in for x-rays--EKG-Bloodwork and talked to a anestesia Dr. so fast my head spun ! I go on the 18th of this month for the stim. Kind of bummed he isn't removing my hardware , look's like the back pain is here to stay. How are you all feeling today ? Hope better than normal . Pepper is your puppy home and better ? I hope so. Thank you all for asking about me . Shawley 123dietdrpepper 06-06-2007, 07:53 AM Shawley - my dog is home and we are awaiting the biobsy results. They believe it is cancer. If it is, we will have to figure out what to do next. I can't afford to many more vet bills. I wrote in your other thread about the implant and my spin on things. Remember we are here for you 100%!! shawley 06-06-2007, 08:02 AM Pepper--I'm sorry for your dog and you . I totally understand about BILL'S were falling so deep in them now I'm worried. I'm worried I may have to settle with comp so we can keep our home . Thing's are really bad here , the wedding / prom's and Bill's have put us so behind it's scary . We called our bank and filed hardship so we can make less payments for 5 months so we can try to catch up. I couldn't imagine my dog getting sick and vet bill's . I'll keep on praying that it isn't cancer , if it is please think of the dog and don't let him/her suffer. I know it's hard to put down a pet but think of the pain it's in . Shawley 123dietdrpepper 06-06-2007, 09:17 AM Shawley if it is cancer, we have already decided he will go down. The hard part will be on the children. Not that the loss makes it any easier but at least we have another dog named Angel. mamakitkat 06-07-2007, 01:35 AM HI Pepper, I"m so sorry to hear about your dog, we just had a scare with our big dog(75 lbs.) he's old and got very ill, lost 4 lbs. in 5 days. The blood work shows nothing wrong, he is now starting to eat after like 7 days of nothing but water. We were thinking about what to do if he was bad. WE can't afford any more bills either. It's a hard thing to have to face, I'm praying that you dont' have to do that. Shawley, it might be good that they are leaving the hardware alone. They took mine out because it was loose and things got worse real fast back then. I will never make that decision to remove it again. It will have to be broken really bad first. God Bless shawley 06-07-2007, 07:17 AM Carol --Goodmorning , the reason I wanted it out is my surgeon said it was fused enough to remove it and I have a reaction to any type of metal . I can't even wear a gold neckless because I break out in a rash , the only jewlry I can wear is the leather neckless . Maybe that's why I have back pain I don't know . But the worker's comp Dr. I seen a little while ago said I wasn't fused again and he was right the last time I saw him and it cost me an unwanted surgery. Thank's for posting to this. Hope you have a pain free day . 123dietdrpepper 06-07-2007, 07:21 AM Carol, Maybe the meds have put me in a fog - why would you not have the hardware removed again? What happened when they removed yours?? Just trying to understand and I apologize if I am in a fog. Good morning Shawley!! shawley 06-07-2007, 07:26 AM Morning Pepper -- Carol had her hardware removed because she her screw's were loose:dizzy: and she wasn't fused . Just caused her more problems down the road . I could be wrong but I remember her saying something like this . Poor woman . 123dietdrpepper 06-07-2007, 07:33 AM Ouch!! I had no clue. My surgeon has actually said that my insurance company will not consider doing any surgery until 18 months after a fusion unless it is a new level or to remove broken screws or an emergency situation. Interesting. Why would they not replace the screws if one was not fused?? Maybe they thought Carol was far enough along?? shawley 06-07-2007, 07:42 AM I guess the loose screw was hurting to bad ?? Maybe that's why my surgeon didn't want to remove my hardware also ? It hasn't been a year since my last exploration surgery until July . I bet comp came down on him or somthing . Oh well as long as I don't get to old ripe age they can't do any more suergery I'll be fine waiting .:) Shawley |
