hello
this is my first time on this forum.
Has anyone had damage done to a nerve at an operation to have a disc removed,if so did it ever sort itself out as mine was done 10years ago and i feel it is getting worse,in fact I am now depressed about it all as i do not know what it is like to be without pain,I know i have a few other problems ie kidney transplant(doing well) hip and knee replacements and arthiritis of the spine, but I am sure the majority of my pains from waist down and now effecting arms and kneck come from the spine, would like to talk to someone who has been in a similar position. Thank you.

Jackie: see my new post I was submitting as you were doing yours! I'm not sure if I have post-surgery nerve damage or not...but working on finding out. It is VERY depressing to still not feel like myself. I had my surgery on Jan 2nd of this year, so I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like to live like this for 10 years. Hang in there- sometimes that's all we can do.
