I went to an allergist last month, and he tested me for (supposedly) everything. however, nothing screamed out at him when he looked at my arms, afterward. I think that blood tests are more accurate, because there is a difference between an allergy, and being intolerant to a certain food. Just because the allergy tests says you aren't "allergic" to something, doesn't mean it doesn't (or hasn't) irritated you in some way before.

When you go to an allergist, they inject the allergen into you- either each individually with a syringe, or with this thing that seems like a stamper, with tons of needles in it, to do many tests at one time. (It's really funky looking). WHen I had mine done, they did the food tests in my forearms.
