I would like to just pass this on and ask for prayers or good thoughts for this family.

On Monday June 4th Mommyboyz 4 year old son drowned in their strip pit ( old strip mine pit fill with water ) She is asking for prayers during this difficult time. Her son Kedan was Autistic and used to post here quite often.
We first met on this board right after she gave birth to Kedan and we only live 15 miles from each other. If you would like for me to pass on any thoughts I will be more than happy to.

Thanks Kelsey's Mom

My heart aches for her and her family. My autistic son is 9yrs old, but when he was that age he was such an escape artist! We had too many close calls where he got out of the house or away from us at relatives homes. They can so easily get into things and we do our best, but sometimes things happen. It is sad, but true. Tell her to try to be strong in her faith and to know that there are people who understand how this kind of thing can happen.

Just want to say how sorry I am to hear of their loss. My cousin lost her 7 year old a couple of years ago and only just come to terms with it now. I will be giving my son extra cuddles today and just thanking God for having him despite his difficulties. My thoughts and prayers are with the little one's family. I know Kedan and my cousin's daughter are in a better place now.

Oh my goodness. I remember Mommaboyz posting often about little Kedan. This really hit home since she and I used to post a lot in the early days and Kedan and my son are the same age. You start to feel like this forum is an extension of family since we share so much with eachother.

Please tell her I am praying for her and her family. I only wish there were more I could do.

Mommaboyz touched my life and made this journey through autism a little easier. I am so very sorry to hear of this tragedy. My heart just aches for Mommaboyz and her family. Please send my love. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know how they are all holding up.

There was a similar situation that just happened in central wisconsin. A 7 yr. old boy with autism disappeared from his home. He was missing for 4 days. There were hundreds of volunteers looking for him. They found him dead in a creek less than a mile from his home. How incredibly sad...and scary. I have two 4 yr. olds who have autism and both of them like to run away.
